Course Description & Highlights
Race begins at the flag pole in front of the pavilion then quickly moves onto the greenway. The course follows the greenway over the gently rolling hills within the park, then crosses Walpine Lane and merges onto the Northwest Middle School Greenway. Runners and walkers follow the greenway all the way around school property and back across Walpine Lane onto the Victor Ashe Park greenway. The most challenging aspect of the course is the persistent incline between mile 2.5 and 2.75. Race finishes in the parking lot beside the soccer fields.
Registration & Entry Fee
Pre-registration closes Friday, July 26. Pre-registration fee is $25. Deduct $5 for no T-shirt option. Late registration, day of registration is $30 for all participants. Day of registration begins at 6:30 a.m. at Victor Ashe Park.
Packets will not be mailed.
Early packet pickup will be available from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 2, at Provision Health and Wellness Center, 1400 Dowell Springs Road, Suite 100, in the Dowell Springs Medical Park off of Middlebrook Pike just west of Weisgarber Road.
Packets can also be picked up beginning at 6:30 a.m. on race day at Victor Ashe Park.
Expected Participation: 500+ runners/walkers
Shirts: First quality, 100% cotton shirts. Pre-registered runners/walkers receive shirts on race day. Late and/or race day registrants receive shirts as supplies last or at later date.
Awards: Award ceremony to be held after race.
- Awards to the top three overall, top Masters (40+), Grandmasters (50+) and Veterans (60+), male and female. Overall winners not eligible for age division awards.
- Awards to the top Clydesdale (male 200lbs+) and Athena (female 150lbs+).
- Awards three deep for age divisions: MALE/FEMALE: 14& under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.

Course Etiquette: Strollers, roller blades, pets NOT ALLOWED on race course. Use of headsets/earphones is strongly discouraged.
